Knee Deep in Prairies
Wednesday, August 11, 8am-4:30pm
Join us for a full day of fun on the prairie, designed to pique your curiosity about, increase your appreciation of and fire up your enthusiasm for prairies.
Activities will include walks and talks on and about Riveredge’s exceptional prairie plantings with teams of regional experts, all of whom have first-hand experience in planting and maintaining prairie habitats in southeast Wisconsin. Come to share, to learn, to ask questions, to laugh and to recharge your commitment to preserving tallgrass prairie, one of our most endangered ecosystems. A wonderful lunch will be prepared by Riveredge’s own Habitat Healers. See newsletter insert for program information and registration form, or register online.
